Contracts and Consultation

The CAERBER provides a variety of learning and professional development opportunities and an array of services to increase awareness and understanding of Deaf Culture, the Deaf Community, the diverse Deaf and hard-of-hearing population and American Sign Language, including:

• Specially designed ASL classes to meet the needs of any professional discipline, agency or industry, or academic program
• Deaf Awareness and Sensitivity (DAS) workshops at beginning and more advanced levels which can be tailored for a variety of audiences
• Training for professionals in diagnostic assessment of ASL
• Training of and certification for American Sign Language Proficiency Interview (ASLPI) evaluators
• Professional development opportunities for non-degree seeking ASL teachers who wish to improve or update their knowledge and skills
